Buried Treasure

So, tell me, has life taken you for granted,
have you found what you wanted,
or just simplicity and fusion,
hope you don't mind my confusion.

Have you found that buried treasure.
Has life brought you pleasure,
or still looking for the quest,
forgive me, for I had to get it off my chest.

I heard, your road has taken many twisted turns,
must be, you tasted love so cold when it still burns.
Yeah, one of the reasons I gave up on your charm,
to live and love, but be free from harm.

Sometimes I wonder why I am getting the hang up calls,
you must know the reason I built those inside walls.
You're telling friends from me you were cursed,
because I had to live a life with dreams- dispersed.

Tomorrow I'll call and tell you "please don't cry,
for it is much easier to say goodbye..."
Crystal tears and sword of love, still by my bed--
when our love died, my heart just- bled.
